- 0 points: not found on public pages

Why it matters to a creator
Some contracts keep paying the agency a share of your income for months after you leave, sometimes on everything made while you worked together. If you then join another agency, you could pay two commissions on the same dollars, so you want this in writing before you sign.
How to check it yourself
- Search the site for "after termination", "post-term", "tail", "trailing" and "after you leave".
- Check the FAQ for a question about leaving or ending the contract.
- Look for an explicit "no commission after the end date", or an exact duration and rate.
- A general line such as "leave anytime" does not answer this question; count it as partly published.
Question to ask an agency
After the contract ends, do you take any commission on my income, including on content made while we worked together, and if so, for how long and at what rate?
